Our PhD student Tine Deconinck attended the 17th International Oncolytic Virus Conference, held at the iconic Harpa Conference Center in Reykjavik, Iceland.
During the conference, Tine presented her research on the comparative evaluation of a large panel of oncolytic viruses in glioblastoma. Her work revealed distinct preferences of different oncolytic viruses among glioblastoma subtypes, highlighting the importance of considering tumor heterogeneity when developing virotherapy-based treatment strategies.
The conference brought together researchers from around the world working on oncolytic viruses, cancer immunotherapy, and translational oncology. It provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss ongoing research, and receive insightful feedback from experts in the field.
We are proud to see Tine representing our team internationally and contributing to the advancement of oncolytic virotherapy research for glioblastoma.
