Identification of TMEM106B as a receptor mediating ACE2-independent SARS-CoV-2 cell entry.

Our research lab has recently identified TMEM106B from a CRISPR-KO screen. Following this, we characterized TMEM106B and learned its function as a receptor mediating ACE2-independent SARS-CoV-2 cell entry. This research has been published in Cell.
