After successfully defending her master’s thesis in our lab, Lore graduated as a bioscience engineer. Her Msc thesis was nominated for the Ie-net Awards 2025, where it achieved an impressive 6th place.
During her PhD, Lore will continue on the virological side, investigating novel human host factors involved in Oropouche virus infection using genome-wide CRISPR screening.
